The Ron Paul Campaign Has Found Its Sound Bite

By WolvesDen | January 11, 2008

Late last evening Faux News held its Republican Debate in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Texas Congressman Ron Paul put in a stellar performance, his best to date in my opinion. But the highlight of the night came when he was asked about his electability. The answer that Congressman Paul provided was Spot On Perfect, with the most hard hitting point being is 20 second summary that begins “Let me see if I get this right,” and ends “What’s going on here?” It is my view that the campaign should know sieze upon this shining moment of Ron Paul’s Clarity Of Reasoning and use it as a sound bite in upcoming radio and television ads.

Hopefully someone from the campaign is listening.

“…why should we not be talking about foreign policy that used to be part of the Republican party? Mr. Republican Robert Taft didn’t even want us to be in NATO, and you’re saying now that we should continue to borrow money from China to finance this empire that we CAN’T AFFORD?!

Let me see if I get this right….

We borrow 10 billion dollars from China and then we give it to [Gen. Pervez] Musharraf, who is a military dictator, who overthrew an elected government, and then we go to war? We loose all the lives promoting democracy IN IRAQ?!

I mean, what’s going on here?

And you’re saying that this isn’t appealing to Republicans? Where did this come about? I think this is a Republican message, I defend the platform. We used to say ‘get rid of the department of education’. It does not say that now. Now Republicans double the size of the department of education, so, WHERE HAVE WE GONE?!

I think we have lost our way. And you make the insinuation that I am less Republican?”

You need to get involved. Even if you can’t vote, you can still help out. This is it ladies! Time for the leaders to surge forward into the trenches. The Ron Paul 2008 campaign needs “Precinct Leaders” to pledge to bring their precinct in for Dr. Paul. Even if you can’t vote, you can canvass and organize. Help us and join in for the big win.

This is the fight for freedom and our republic. The first shots have been fired - even if only snowballs. The battle lines are drawn. Air support is moving in. The ground troops are filling the streets. It is time for total war. Get media attention with civil disobedience and conscientious objection. You have already been declared an enemy combatant, not subject to Geneva convention protection.

Well, he is a hero. Unfortunately, there are not enough of us who understand liberty, truth, and desire to have that. Most people are just satisfied to let FOX etal think for them. The reporters were saying Ron Paul was the loser and Fred Thompson was the winner last night. How would anyone in their RIGHT mind find anything losing about Ron Paul’s statements? They are not in their right minds.

What I can’t beleive is how well Paul does in the debate. The moderators are trying to ask loaded questions to catch him off guard and that !@#$ Giuliani laughing like a pimply middle schooler who still thinks farting is funny. Ron Paul did an excellent job that night.

Wow…last night was truly amazing. I am a Canadian and I was still punching the air after that superb Paul performance. Seeing those poll numbers roll out under the other candidates as they nervously sat there watching theeir monitors… gave me chills. Carter Carlsen, the smug little rat that asked the rude question about Dr. Paul’s electibility should be taken out behind the wood shed for the better part of a day. And that PUTZ Frank Lutz and his robot focus group? Are ya kiddin’ me? What a pathetic bunch of losers. LOL…”all of us mindless shills have been told to say that Ron Paul should not have been here tonight” LOL. I have only voted once in my life and that was 47 years ago, and I regret that I can’t vote for this Gentleman. God Bless You Ron Paul….and watch your back…..

Ron Paul is a founding father figure among clowns and puppets who are a total sham.

I was becoming concerned that he was looking too meek and passive but, not last night! He owned those morons and made total fools out of the neo-fascist beastmen horde.

Ron Paul only needs to speak and he leaves the other candidates wetting themselves. Not one of those whores would dare try and debate Ron Paul head-on!

  17. A. Magnus Says:
    January 11th, 2008 at 7:13 am

Ron Paul’s campaign needs to endorse the Kucinich recount or else he will get screwed out of every upcoming primary and caucus right up to the convention. If he doesn’t then it will be difficult to support a man who will not stand up for himself.

  18. Chas Says:
    January 11th, 2008 at 7:46 am

Again 5 boys against 1 man in the SC debate. All the jokes the other candidates make only prove this. Ron makes no jokes because the condition of this republic is NOT FUNNY! Ron is in as POTUS in 2008 or the republic this time around will belong to the historians of the future as it will cease to even exist even though it is only a circus now.

I’d like to see a “People’s Debate” and leave these Communistic New World Order, Dictator loving supposed news reporters out of it! Who says we have to listen to these bunches of bought and paid for word whores anyways? Arrange a real debate with real questions from the people around in that state. I mean you have to prove that you live there in order to get in and ask questions. No CIA, No FBI, Nobody paid by the media - people that are real and who can be vouched as from the working middle class!!! Let’s have some real questions to Rudi about why was it so important that building # 7 come down on 9/11 and what was in there that they wanted to get rid of so desperately????!!!

What do you think that he’d say to that?

That’s a debate that even I would watch.

fox news is so unprofessional, like middle schoolers laughing at someone farting. Ron Paul was the ONLY Gentlemen in front of the camera last night, the hosts and the other candidates are clearly phoney and immature. America is facing serious problems and Fox News laughs when they ask Dr.Paul questions. What an embarassment Fox News has become. I Wish for Bad Things to happen to every person who works for Fox News. Nuff Said.

That was a very legitimate question. Ron Paul is not electable. I do agree with a good portion of his beliefs, but he kind of reminds me of someone’s crazy uncle. America won’t vote for him. When he goes on about foreign policy, he sounds naive.

  29. Randall Says:
    January 11th, 2008 at 11:48 am

By the way, Fox News is great. It’s nice to have at least one channel that gives us the truth. The left has all the other news channels, so it’s nice to at least have one with a partial conservative voice.

  30. Christopher Says:
    January 11th, 2008 at 11:54 am

That was brilliant. They try to exclude Ron Paul from the debates because he makes his challengers (news pundits included) look feeble minded. The Hulk Hogan “I can’t hear you” move at the end of his verbal lashing was a perfect non-verbal communication ploy to incorporate the crowd in agreeing with him on how preposterous the question was in the first place.

  31. Joe Mack Says:

I truly feel that he must embrace the 9/11 Truth movement.

I registered to vote after many years just to vote for him.

However now that he is distancing himself from Alex Jones and Prison Planet. my motivation is completely, gone.

I am, of course cognizant there may be horrifying pressures and or threats on him and his family. But, then, that’s why he should step aside for others who are willing to REALLY stick their necks out…

There is no substitute for the truth and honesty and it seems that only Ron Paul
can and has delivered in that regard . I’ve followed him since 1971
and he’s so consistant that one can predict how he’ll vote on any
given issue . Just follow the Constitution .

Had he to go along to get along like the others do , he could be very
wealthy where money is concerned . He’s super wealthy in the things
    that really matter !!

    BTW , he and I have identical birthdays - 08/20/1935 .

    Joe Mack -

If a 72 year old running for president purely on his beliefs and ideas, only to be slandered and berated, with nothing to gain in all likelyhood, but the spreading of his ideas about economic and personal freedom and liberty is NOT sticking their neck out, please enlighten me.

I believe that Ron Paul is as interested in the truth as we all are. However, attempting to reveal a truth to the masses before its time has dire consequences for the seeker. Give the seeker an opportunity to gain a solid foothold before challenging him to claim himself champion before the masses.

This is a lot of fun, if the MSM “allows” him to keep in these debates he’s going to make a lot of the powers that be and their msm stooges even more uncomfortable. 46. Randall Says:

I’m completely grounded, Wez, unlike so many other conspiracy nutjobs that I’ve read (#43, for example). People who think like Ron Paul are dangerous and naive to the fight that we’re in. We cannot have leaders who do not recognize a global war against islamic fascists. Period.

  47. Bob Robertson Says:
    January 17th, 2008 at 12:45 pm

Randall, in case you haven’t noticed, it’s the Americans who are the aggressive fascists. The rest of the world is defending themselves from this murderous Crusade.

If France had soldiers occupying North America, and some Americans flew a French plane into the Eifel Tower, you’d call them patriots. No different than the Saudis flying American airplanes into the NYC World Trade Center.

It’s just the continuation of the American policy of global domination started by Teddy Roosevelt, expanded by Wilson and FDR, and continued and “improved” by every president since. American fascists bomb any other country in the world, any time they want, then object when someone turns around and returns the favor?

The Islamics tend to work within their own borders. So long as they do, I have no argument with them.
