16 minutes Fox news didn’t air on the debate replay

By researchris | January 11, 2008

((Click “read more” to see videos)) Heard it through the http://www.ronpaulwarroom.com that the 2nd replay of the debate did not include Ron Paul’s remarks on if he is electable… I missed that but then caught the 3rd replay of it and compared it to the original airing. They played the whole first hour up until Thompson’s remarks about Pakistan’s army, then went to commercial,,,,,, when they came back, they started from the FIRST question of the debate. So it replayed until around 35 minutes in where McCain was talking about the Law of the Sea Treaty and Iran speedboats…. then it cut him off a bit short of that answer…. When they came back from that commercial, Fox jumped to the last segment of the debate about illegal immigration. SO……. to SUM UP WHAT WAS EDITED out of the Fox replays, it was about 16 minutes. It did include Ron Paul’s response about his electability. I posted the 16 minutes that was edited out to see if anyone can see if there was anything else Fox wanted to keep off the airwaves

Thank you for confirming this. I think this is a huge story in and of itself.

“…why should we not be talking about foreign policy that used to be part of the Republican party? Mr. Republican Robert Taft didn’t even want us to be in NATO, and you’re saying now that we should continue to borrow money from China to finance this empire that we CAN’T AFFORD?!

Let me see if I get this right….

We borrow 10 billion dollars from China and then we give it to [Gen. Pervez] Musharraf, who is a military dictator, who overthrew an elected government, and then we go to war? We loose all the lives promoting democracy IN IRAQ?!

I mean, what’s going on here?

And you’re saying that this isn’t appealing to Republicans? Where did this come about? I think this is a Republican message, I defend the platform. We used to say ‘get rid of the department of education’. It does not say that now. Now Republicans double the size of the department of education, so, WHERE HAVE WE GONE?!

I think we have lost our way. And you make the insinuation that I am less Republican?”

To make sure I have this right; The above response about electiblity was broadcast live, but was edited out of the replays? If they cut out 16 min of the debate what did they fill that time with on the replay?

[...] Then, in the 2nd re-airing of the debate, Fox again in a great disservice to the public, did not re-air the portion of Ron Paul’s remarks on whether or not he is electable. Fox Debate Was Establishment Propaganda and 16 minutes Fox news didn’t air on the debate replay [...]
