From 1999 to 2004, the actor Wesley Snipes earned $38 million appearing in more than half a dozen movies, including two sequels to his popular vampire thriller “Blade.”
The taxes he paid in the same period? Zero.
But unlike other celebrities who find themselves on the wrong side of the Internal Revenue Service, Mr. Snipes has a flamboyant explanation: he argues that he is not actually required to pay taxes.
Mr. Snipes, who is scheduled to go on trial Monday in Ocala, Fla., has become an unlikely public face for the antitax movement, whose members maintain that Americans are not obligated to pay income taxes and that the government extracts taxes from its citizens illegally.

It’s time for him to campaign for Ron Paul. He would be a perfect example of why we need to abolish the IRS. Yes it is illegal to pay taxes and Snipes knew about it since 1999. I hope Ron Paul can get him together on YouTube and talk about the IRS and their illegal activities. I believe the IRS is using a high profile guy like Snipes as an example that no matter who you are you will get in trouble by not paying taxes. PURE BULLS*IT!! IRS can suck a donkey d*ck!!

Did you know the IRS is taking 16 million dollars in unpaid taxes since 1999?! If its not already bad enough most of our earnings go to putting gas in our car. This is pure enslavement.

Sorry to say it, but Mr. Snipes will pay either way. UNLESS, he properly rebuts the information returns made against him.
If he wins the criminal trial they will still get him in a civil trial.

Wesley is fighting a losing battle because he is quite wrong. The LIABILITY issue is not in Constitutional Law but CONTRACT Law. The government has NO rights at all to interfere in private business UNTIL you invite them in as a third party. This happens every single time you sign a contract with the government, such as when you sign a W-2 form, get a social security number, open a bank account, get a driver’s license, a passport, etc. These are all CONTRACTS that invite the government in as a third party and make you LIABLE to uphold the contract. Read the fine print. When you sign a contract such as those listed above YOU, yourself, throw your rights in the trash and become involved in the income tax, keeping records, etc. Because Wesley is arguing under Constitutional issues the judges will have no choice but to dismiss them as “frivolous.” It is the same as if he were arguing the laws of baseball in a football game, two different forms of law.

Every dollar that the Federal Reserve Print, the Fed charges fees about 0.13dollars. The Federal Reserve Prints Billions of Dollars and these fees have to be paid by your non sovreign government, that’s why you have 9trillions dollars worth of debts, also to your IRS is used to pay these fees and charges. This goes back to 1929-1935 when JP Morgan and associate helped creating the Fed. The bill was passed on Christmas eve. The good news no bill was passed to force citizen to pay the IRS. The IRS agent that takes Wes to court understands he’s operating as a pubic-servant in an individual capacity while holding public office. He must be held responsible,accountable,culpable for his actions. He swore an oath of office to uphold/OBEY/defend both the state and US Constitutions. He is violating his oath and has thereby committed perjury. Perjury is a serious charge.

According to the socialistic insecurity adminstration, “having and using a social security number is voluntary and not required to live or work in the United States”.
Without the use of a social security number (or other taxpayer ID number) there is no tax liability created. Wesley has a RIGHT to exchange his labor for remuneration without a socialist slavestate number within any of the fifty united States, with very few exceptions such as working for the federal govt. or a federally owned corporation such as the post office.
If Wesley used a taxpayer ID number such as an SSN, he created a presumption of tax liability that he now will have to overcome in court.
The DOJ/IRS can’t afford to lose this case, it is too big. Therefore, they will bring in a special prosecuting judge who will make sure that 12 certified morons never get so much as a whiff of the truth about the tax codes. Google “Dick Simkanin” and see what happened in his case, that was another one that DOJ/IRS couldn’t afford to lose.
I don’t know the specifics of the Wesley Snipes case but I would wager that he used a personal taxpayer ID number such as an SSN or an ITIN. I would also wager that he would be totally in the clear had he 1) had a corporation that he held no position in do his accounts receivable, for the purpose of providing those individuals or entities for whom he worked a taxpayer ID number (since they believe they need one, even if they really don’t, to expense out the amount of his remuneration on their tax forms) and 2) had the invoicing corporation pay him WITHOUT a taxpayer ID number (none required unless Wesley was deriving an income from abroad or some other limited circumstance) and 3) kept his mouth shut, knowing that the IRS/DOJ could not allow someone of his stature to openly and brazenly challenge their ongoing fraudulent mal application of the tax codes without responding.
Meanwhile, for most of us who are not celebs nor make that kind of money … if we were to liken the income tax system to “The Matrix” the IRS would NOT be Agent Smith. The IRS would be merely the Sentinels, aka “the squiddies”, which were mindless search and destroy robots. Agent Smith would be corporate Amerika.
Social security was passed in 1935, people were enumerated starting in 1936, and withholding for social security from people’s pay envelopes started on January 2nd, 1937. Most people knew at that time that social security was a voluntary program that they were signing up for. There were those who did NOT sign up. Increasing pressure was put on them, not by the government, but by their employers, to sign up for the program. At first it was “sign up, it’s a really good deal, and you’ll never miss that 1% they take from your pay envelope” and then it became “we are trying for 100% participation, what makes you so special??” Years back, I spoke to one such holdout, who endured 5 years of badgering over the issue, until he was threatened with termination after the air attack on Pearl Harbor if he didn’t sign up.
In 1939, social security was rolled into the revenue codes via the “Public Salary Tax Act”. In 1940, the Buck Act was passed, which was a reciprocal taxing agreement between the states and the federal govt. It effectively created a series of federal overlay zones on top of the several (then 48) united States for the administration of federal programs (mainly social security). This layed the groundwork for passage of the Victory Tax Act, passed in 1942, going into effect on July 1st, 1943 after being promoted by Donald Duck (no kidding, really, and it was even called the Donald Duck Tax at the time). People were given assurances that income tax withholding was a temporary wartime measure that would expire in two years. It is still with us today.
The bottom line is this … there is a wall of ignorance and fear put in place by the IRS and corporate Amerika regarding the voluntary nature of the socialist slavestate number. Without corporate Amerika enforcing withholding agreements, there would be no income tax. Corporate Amerika needs to fear “We The People” more than they fear the IRS. Ballot initiatives need to be passed at local levels forcing corporations into giving 100% full disclosure in plain English what all the whys and wherefores regarding the use of the socialist slavestate number, including any tax liability incurred, as well as the fact that it is 100% voluntary and not required. I believe that would put quite a dent in the system.

Ken Weber (post above) is absolutely right. If you sign a W-2 form you ARE liable for taxes…BUT, do Hollywood megastars like Snipes sign W-2’s to begin with? I doubt it.
So, if Wesley Snipes has no loose ends with the Feds, then he should GO FOR IT !!!

The awakening started about 4 yrs ago for me. Read all you can. Watch the Youtube vids out there before the internet is regulated. Pass the truth on to others and your children. Get out of the banking system. Thats right! Pull your money out of the bloodsucking bastards banking system. Stop playing their game. Cash your check at the grocery store. So you pay a fee. I don’t believe that he can’t sort of ammend for the last three years. I know that to ammend means to change but in the same sens isn’t he or wouldn’t he be changing his form of non compliance or manner of how he choses to express his defence? Or is your statement based on the requirement to file? I myself have gone three years before without filing and simply backfiled. Three years seems to be the limit of the governments patience though.

Money is a fraud via fractional banking practices. Its produced out of thin air by the banks, but you pay them back via your blood, sweat and tears. Where’s all the Gold gone? The Snipes jury is still out… all day yesterday/Wed. 1/30, and today/Thurs. 1/31/08. The jury sent a note to the judge yesterday wanting clarification of what the word “CONSPIRACY” meant. (???) Is Wesley being charged with conspiracy of some sort? (We KNOW WHERE the conspiracy really lies! Grrrr). So the judge made Wesley and everybody be in court this morning so he could give his info re: what conspiracy means, for the jury.

I’ve always heard the LONGER a jury takes to reach a verdict, the BETTER. It means they are struggling. Let’s hope somebody on that jury - 7 women, 5 men - have been enlightened at some point in their lives re: the IRS fraud. Re: Amendment #16 vs. other non-tax-paying defenses: I didn’t go look at some of the sites mentioned in the comments above, but I am wondering if the http://www.losthorizons.com info is the same as I heard when I first learned of the IRS fraud in the late 1980s.
I had ordered info from a health-nut guy re: fasting and eating a raw-fruit/veggie diet (a/k/a “Natural Hygiene”). But he was also a small-time publisher of IRS fraud info, so I got the preliminary info out of extreme curiosity and I still have it. His name was T. C. Fry (now deceased) and he published the tax info under “American Freedom Network.” He obviously was reading Irwin Schiff’s info as there is a picture of one of Schiff’s books in the literature.
(I had heard back in those days that the Feds/FBI had raided TC Fry’s small publishing operation out in Texas, and took all of his publishing equipment, ransacked the place, etc.)

Anyway, the thin preliminary booklets I had received from him back then re: the IRS fraud was that the IRS Code DOES state that it is only people who reside and/or work in the FEDERAL STATES that have to pay FEDERAL income taxes. And that “FEDERAL STATES” does NOT apply to the 50 states, but to the FEDERAL states of Washington DC, Puerto Rico, Guam, and a few others. Included in the brochure were the exact sections quoted from the IRS Code.
It’s quite fascinating and makes such good sense.
It also said that LAWYERS, by their profession (as “officers of the court”) DO have to pay federal income taxes. I wondered if that means their secretaries do, too?
It said that the IRS is really a section of the Federal Dept. of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms. So if you are engaged in any FEDERAL activity, such as selling booze, guns, cigs, etc., then you DO have to pay federal income taxes, etc.
But as for the average American living OUTSIDE of those specific “Federal States,” and who is NOT working for the “federal government” in any way, then, NO, there truly is NO LAW in that IRS Code that says you have to pay federal income tax.
That seems like a pretty solid argument (vs. the 16th amendment deal), and I wonder how many have used it as a defense in actual court cases?
I wonder if Wesley Snipes is using it in his defense?
