An America where a media source that even tepidly challenges that outlook is implicitly threatened:

We’re headed towards a very bad place. A place where we must fear our government, our media, and our fellow citizens. A place where a quasi-messianic figure has thugs doing his bidding, both at his behest and spontaneously, out of religious devotion.
