24 Hour Revolution Strategy Session: Super Tuesday Chaos ******Cast Your Vote******

By Paul Reissaus | January 15, 2008

 www.nuclearassault.wordpress.com

Please post a few ideas for creating mass {civilized} havoc on or before Super Tuesday. Feel free to add your ideas over the next 24 hours. I would like to have a vote on the 4 or 5 top things that can be organized for the weekend leading up to Super Tuesday.

Think of things that would be low cost or free; and can be easily accessed or initiated by JQ Public. And maybe a low class misdemeanor or two just for good measure.

If the Ron Paul campaign is to last beyond Feb. 5th, it’s gotta’ unite and give this country something it isn’t use to seeing. Our own “Shock & Awe” campaign if you will.

The few ideas I have seem kinda’ lame, but my hope is the creative population here can help. Any thoughts on organizing or executing these ideas are also welcome.

Mass Media Email - Clog incoming servers with Ron Paul info

Online News Sites: digg, newsvine, reddit - Bury the bastards in Ron Paul links

Print flyers; Canvas - Cover America - One bolt of paper - 500 copies minimum

Get in the way. Hold up traffic. Speak up and be noticed. Launch the Air Corps. Activate or Assimalate! Someone light Alex Jones’ fuse……..

Get in the trenches and fight for your freedom!

Well its not low cost, and don’t think you can get it out by the date but i suggest the mailing out of copies of the constitution to every American sealed with the good doctors name

if you live in an apt. complex of some sort,,, get all the addresses and contribute monetarily for the 1st class postage and come up with Ron Paul fliers of info. or DVD’s of ones choice….. and mail it… you’ve made change in your immediate “neighbor”hood.

of course, you could go knock on the door and talk and converse and share ideas… however another way people ingest important information is in privacy so they can have their personal moment of “holy crap!”. If they receive information via USPS mail, it could appear to be junk mail to some, but touches more hands of chances to inform.

“Win more flies with honey than vinegar.” Don’t do anything to be a jerk about Ron Paul. People are for the most part ignorant of anything they don’t see on TV, so if you make the nightly news by “holding up traffic” just to parade a sign, don’t let it be a Ron Paul sign. They [especially the non-net user] will see Ron Paul and associate him with being late, frustrated, etc. That’s NOT a good thing!

There are grown-ups who will be voting in this election, especially in the primaries. Therefore, we need grown-up ways to reach them. [This is the ONLY ironic benefit I have found from my years as a youth pastor: learn how to draw a crowd.]

Two words: FREE STUFF! And I don’t mean just literature. Buttons, bumper stickers, slim jims [the masses want their news small and convenient, no books!], and the DVD ideas are great. Buy your literature from the RonPaul2008.com website.all that money goes to the campaign anyway.

But, don’t forget to package it with something else: FREE FOOD! Ask a local vendor to donate some burgers, etc. to the cause [and ask that vendor to support Ron Paul if he/she doesn't already]. Or, group together and purchase some cheap food yourselves. People LOVE handouts [which is why Ron Paul needs to be elected, so they'll stop!].

Remember the American mindset: give it to me short, clear, and free, and remember I’m hungry!

  5. Jason Marcel Says:

Canvas, canvas, canvas. Keep it short and simple, knock on doors, go through your apt building. What works best for me is that I tell people that I didn’t like politics and didn’t care until I listened to Paul speak……and it’s true!

He’ll bring the troops home immediately and he’s not in the pocket of big corporations.

Google Ron Paul is always a good thing to add.
    _________

I’m not sure if the Paul campaign is doing it or thinking about it, but we need to get that blimp to fly over the SuperBowl the week before.

You can by poncho’s at a dollar store. Why poncho’s? Because you can fit a lot of information about Ron Paul on them. Write where he stands on the major issues that will most communicate the need for the people in your town to vote for him. Have some index cards to give them when they ask specific questions about those issues. Walk everywhere. wearing the poncho. Malls, walmart, streets, restaurants, movie theaters. Smile and be approachable.

    Just a thought.

Hey Fellow Revolutionaries, I noticed that MSN wesite has better search results for Ron Paul than both Google and Yahoo. Im bummed cause I got the RP yahoo toolbar but yahoo/google are only returning neagtive stories. Also take note that the medias latest tack is to dismiss Ron Paul’s and Our Campaign as over and done with. The fact is there would be no way in hell that the media would spend time on the topic if Ron Paul was not having an impact. In fact the system is getting scared and scrambling to stop US!!!! I am getting more mobilized by their BS and Now Im gonna Fight the Power with all I got and then some.
RON PAUL 2008!!! I LOVE YOU ALL AND I LOVE DR. PAUL!!!

Nothing says “Hey, I think I’ll vote for this guy instead” like making someone late for work or dinner. Have some common sense people. Make spectacles of ourselves in a good natured way and get the message out. The key is to show people that there might be enough of us out here to actually make a difference in something other than commute times.

Best suggestion: make your LOCAL NEWS in a good light! More people will watch local news before watching FOXNEWS or MSNBC each night. Charge your meetup group to do something POSITIVE in the community while you campaign. hold a free car wash [if you can stand the cold!] while you hand out Ron Paul materials.

Do SOMETHING to get the positive message on the local news, even if it’s just to spark someone’s interest and mention the campaign website! I’ve yet to see anyone else’s campaign have a local grassroots group do ANYTHING!!!

Going door to door is working wonders. Take a friend and some information and hit the streets..we visited more than 1000 homes.

  13. Zaphod Tralfamadore Says:
    January 15th, 2008 at 7:54 am

    I like Leo’s idea a lot.

A free car wash, or picking up trash beside the highway, or delivering meals on wheels, all the while blanketed in Paul-aganda, signs, slim jims, posters, etc.

We want to hit a very low-level of the brain. The same spot Pavlov was after. We want to make a subtle association that Ron Paul = help America.

I also find that I get better results when I don’t demand a complete “conversion”, but rather create some doubt. For example:

“I like McCain” - some fool

    “Why McCain?” - me

“He wants to end the Iraq War.” - some fool

“Everyone wants to end the war. But what about the embassy?” - me

    “What embassy?” - fool

“We’re building an embassy in Iraq thats bigger than the Vatican. Isn’t that kinda silly if we’re about to end the war?” - me

“We need to keep an eye on those dirty A-rabs” - fool

    “Do we?” - me

    “Of course. Otherwise- 9/11! 9/11!” - fool

“We had bases in more than 100 countries before the 9/11 attack. Are you sure more bases is the answer?” - me

“Grunt! 9/11! So-and-so said! Blah blah!” - fool

Then WALK AWAY. Give them the final word. Do not fight. Do not shoot down obvious misinformation and propaganda- it will only cause a defensive response. No one likes feeling stupid, least of all stupid people.

The goal is this: the next time this fool sees Dr. Paul speak, he will think to himself: “yeah, why do we need all those bases?” Better still- it will be *their* idea, not *your* idea.

I have had several of these types come back to me a few weeks later and say-

“You are dead wrong.” - fool
    “Me?” - me
“Yeah, we don’t need another base in Iraq” - fool
“Why not? What about the A-rabs?” - me
*Ron Paul talking point* - fool
“I never thought of that before. I better read-up on this Ron Paul guy” - me

Rather than shoot them down, and show them as the illiterate retards they are, I show a little patience, keep a positive attitude, and let them feel like they are “winning” the argument at all times- or at the very least- not losing it.

A guy like this is worth 10 YouTube videos. Encouraged by having converted me (in their head) they will wander back to their own circle, and have a new “fun fact” to share.

This strategy turned a cranky neighbor of mine from a Romney supporter into a family of Ron Paul fanatics. Over the holidays, the only thing the family could talk about was how great Ron Paul is. All I could do is smile, and nod in agreement.

“Coast to Coast We love Ron Paul the most!”
Show Ron Paul as the uniter in our country, uniting right and left. There are 5 Coast to coast interstates, I-10, I-40, I-70, I-80 and I-90… What if we stretched a “banner brigade” all at once from sea to shining sea all along our east-west arteries? Without interrupting traffic, just showing our support! We could play with the themes I just mentioned. It might get some news footage if we timed it during rush hour… almost like one giant “march” across our country. it would be cool if enough people were to participate, and most of us could find our way to one of those main highways…. just thinking here… What do you think?

Letters to the editor in many major and minor newspapers around the country might reach the crowd we need to educate. People who read the paper THINK they are educated on all the issues, still many people don’t even know what Ron Paul stands for. These people like to think they are informed enough to make a decision yet they do not know how our economy has been plundered nor how our constituion has been eviscerated. We need to reach the Obama, Clinton, McCain supporting newpaper reading voters who do not support the war in IRAQ, think the economy and the borders need serious reform. They have NO Idea about Ron Paul. Lets get a form letter-fact sheet out about the issues and all agree to send to our local papers media blitz style!!!

    Domain bomb.

There are many IT related people among RP supporters.
Many have domains registered. We could redirect our domains on RP site.
Or put new home page with big RP banner and “not so big” to original content.
Maybe somebody could make the template to download.
“All roads go to Rome” and all domains point on RP site.

I’m not into praise so I’ll share an idea here. I think it should be offered through the ronpaul2008.com website as a form of raising donations: Rural mailboxes that are made in the shape/form of our Ron Paul blimp. We all put out signs and this would be unique. Can someone, Alex Jones, forward this to the Ron Paul campaign?

    Just another scenario…
I cant stop thinking about this ad scenario:

    Place: little girl’s room
Little girl is going sleep and her grandfather starts reading some goodnight story:
[you see the calendar on wall and it is *** 2088 ***]
Grandfather starts: “Once upon a time was a princess …” (etc. something typical)
And girl interrupts (she isnt sleepy at all).
    She says:
“Granny granny pls pls tell me how you and yor friends made Constitution. ”
    “Not constitution but revolution”
She: (screeming with passion) “Ron Paul revolution legalize the constitution!!”
And he starts story: “It was in 2008. I was 30. I have no idea who Ron Paul is. I saw him first time on the debate and that how it started.” (some flashes - marches - tea party - Internet). Ron Paul speaking flashes.

    And finish:
She says and she almost sleeps: “And there was no more war again”
    “Yes. No more”
“And ….(she points RP main issues)
    “Yes baby”
“And we the people…” - she speaks words from constitution.
    —————–
Well. Something like that. Forgive my english mistakes - Im not American but I hope you win.
    Good luck and keep positive.

  30. madison805 Says:

This may seem a bit out of the ordinary but…if possible, how about having a Ron Paul lottery name drawing the night before Super Tuesday. You purchase on-line or at Ron Paul campaign headquarters at $1.00 each shot and the winner collecting 100% of the money raised. Given that he has raised over 6 million dollars in 1 day that could be quite a give-away for one person. Who doesn’t like winning money? Think about the media attention that would create and just in name recognition alone.

“How much is the Ron Paul lotto up to now?”
    “Ron Paul is doing what?”
“Who won the Ron Paul lotto?”
    “Who is Ron Paul again?”

Of course there would be Ron Paul propoganda all over the lotto sign up page and links to entice viewers to see for themselves about Ron Paul. A running total of how much one person could win updated. Kinda exciting.

There may be rules against such a venture but I’d buy several chances. Wouldn’t you? It could be the talk of the entire US if the total reached a sizable portion.

    RUSH TO WAR,
    that is “classic”,
It’s the best idea I’ve seen here,

The truth is,most people won’t even open the door to talk to anyone, let alone listen to someone talking about politics, the local news has completely failed to mention any story on Ron Paul, yet surprisingly, people here in southern Indiana/Louisville Kentucky area are already well informed about the “Ron Paul Revolution”,I’ll probably get attacked by someone here for even posting,,for some reason the people in this forum have chosen to dislike me,,,they don’t realize that I am more involved in the fight against the tyrants than they can imagine.I stand in public and speak the truth on many issues to the point that I have been watched by “goons’ in dark glasses that think they are hiding, but they are the only ones in the fancy suits,so it is obvious who they work for,I come up with descent ideas to take our message to the people, and immediately,a few select people on this forum attack me as being a troll or an idiot.
Well,I’m neither a troll or an idiot, but I will stop coming to this site if I continue to be attacked.Arguing with other people that supposedly have the same ideas as myself is not going to get anyone else to come here and be convinced that our Candidate is the “right” choice if they open an article and see RP supporters bickering.

  32. HR PAINE Says:
    January 15th, 2008 at 12:26 pm

Two things we can realistically do on a fairly large scale–and volume is everything.

    1) turn Jan 21 into a huge donation day.

    2) come up with a visually high-impact, easily read, one sided flyer and print it by the thousand. Get on your bike with a backpack full of these flyers and leave them everywhere in stacks. Staple them to telephone poles around voting sites, put stacks near newspaper machines, etc. etc. We can’t rely on a lot of people doing this–or much of anything–but one person in each town, with five hundred or a thousand flyers in their backpack, determined to come home with none of them, could make everyone aware in their area.

What should the flyer say? Imagine a bunch of regular Joes reading this …

They won’t let Ron Paul on TV because they don’t want us to remember we still have a Constutition in this country, but there’s one way YOU CAN

    Stop the national ID

Stop the Federal Reserve from destroying the US dollar and stealing our nation’s wealth.

Make Washington respect OUR borders as much as it does borders in the Middle East

End government spying and all new laws that treat YOU like a terrorist.

Make certain your children inherit a USA where their minds, families, rights and savings are their OWN–this may be your last chance!

Ron Paul [in big letters] has a real chance at winning, but only if American like YOU stand up and demand your rights are respected.

Don’t believe the clever lies and calculated talking points–all other candidates want to do nothing more than confiscate your earnings in order to run your life. There’s only one candidate that big business and big government is literally terrified of.

    Then web site info, etc.

Man, that’s ingenious. It makes an asset of the media blackout and media attacks, it hits on a lot of issues for one-issue voters, and it emphasizes what sets RP apart from everyone else. Get these things stapled up everywhere, blowing all over the streets in every city and town and people will eventually get curious and pick them up and start really wondering what this is all about.

It’s cheap and high impact. It just requires enough people to do it …. A PDF of this flyer can be posted here, people can download it, take the disc to Kinkos and print as many as they can afford, and take a day getting them out everywhere …

All the others just wish their supporters would send money…..but they don’t because they really don’t care, they’re just voting because they watch a lot of TV. These neocons respect M-O-N-E-Y. how about gathering at the main monuments of your cities or area? You may produce pictures of RP supporters at the TOP US-Location such as

    Times Square,
    Hollywood-Letters,
    Golden Gate Bridge
    Niagara Falls
    Independence Hall in Philadelphia,
    French Quarter New Orleans
    Key West, FL
    DisneyWorld
    Elvis’ Graceland Mansion
    Hawaii
    St. Louis Arch
    Boston State House
    Las Vegas
    and so on….

The idea would be to reclaim the country symbolically by bringing back the institution to these symbols of the US. And hand out copies of the constitution and information on RonPauls agenda!

If organised properly you may show the country the size of the Movement and that there is a real alternative.

You will draw attention attention at least from the local media and you’ll have good pictures to use in future campaigns.

    Outstanding Ideas!

OK, I’ll try my best to get this organized. The following posts seem to make the best sense so far.

#1 - Mass Mail the Constitution
    #3 - Blanket Apartment Complexes
    #4 - Free Stuff
    #16 Banner Brigade
#17 - Letter to the Editor
    #21 - Surround the Whitehouse
    #29 - Opposition Bumper Stickers
    #30 - Ron Paul Lottery
    #32:2 - Mass Canvas - By those under 18?
    #37 - Million Man March
#38 - Gather at local monuments

If there are any not listed that you think should be, speak up. I sorta’ like the idea of holding up traffic and displaying an opposition sign. Tomorrow we’ll vote on the most popular suggestions, and begin organizing the attack.

Falcon’s idea is good. Local Papers! He’s right, the internet is saturated with the message. We need OLD PEOPLE and REGULAR OLE REPUBS. If you listen to Limbaugh lately, he’s just as frustrated at how liberal everyone is. Can’t we say to these limbaugh types “Are you really going to let the liberals win America? THEY ARE TAKING OVER YOU PARTY!

For every young person that pretends to vote, there are 10 older Americans that actually turn out. Ask these old conservatives “Which Big Government Abortionist did the Media talk you into this year?” Old people can get as mad as anybody. Educate them that McCain and Romney are LIBERALS. Its not a hard task!

And if you meet a young person, challenge them! Ask them if they are anti-war and then convince them that they can’t trust Hillary or Obama to end it. I’ve talked several Obama voters into changing to Ron Paul. I was called a racist once for being a Ron Paulite and I said “Don’t you think its a bit racist to vote for someone because they are black? Whats your favorite plank int he Obama platform? Why can Hillary cry when a president is supposed to be tough? Lets get honest folks.

This is an EASY but effective way to reach people where you live. Leave flyers neatly spread out at the mail box area of your condo or apartment. Try to wait till 5 pm to avoid the cleaning people from throwing them all away. Plus most people check their mail boxes after work.

If you live in a house just drive around and put flyers in their mail boxes.

    Peace

Another good idea is to go to all your local churches, mosques, temples and put flyers on the cars in the parking lot. This works for schools, companies, corporations etc etc…. Be careful on private property. But usually its no big deal. Night clubs advertise this way.

This is the easiest most effective way to reach people. Also it is good excersise.

Also go the you local fire departments and put DVDs on the Chiefs car.. Make sure to write EVIDENCE on the front of the material. Everyone loves a good mystery.

Also you can meetup and canvas more area with more people.

I like to take Alex DVDs and write EVIDENCE all over it and leave them on ploice cars… its kind of a rush to do.. its very fun. I have woken up so many cops this way. Also I actually became friends with alot of them and they all think I was a nut at first. But now they have had a chance to look at the DVDs they think Im some genious now. LOL beats being chased by them like when I was a kid.

I actually had a very long conversation with several Sherriffs and Police. Some more willing to learn then others. One Sherrif threatened me and told me to get the hell out of here when I was passing DVDs at gun shows. I didn’t leave though.

Oh well the price we pay for some fun. AND I mean it is fun!

I was talking a guy in my neihborhood about the NWO. Turned out he was a fireman. I said wow do all the firemen think this way? He said thats all they talk about at the fire stations around town.

AWESOME it WORKED… Alex DVDs must have sent them all into SHOCK… like it did me when I first awoke. They are all pretty upset now. I hope they take action!!

aside from surrounding the capitol in Washington (which isnt realistic cause I know most people are like me and couldnt afford the trip) I say a mass of supporters at every state capitol building all at the same time supporting Ron Paul and NON VIOLENTLY protesting media bias (leaving election fraud issues alone for the moment) would raise a lot of eyebrows and get a LOT of media. and of course get a lot of us jailtime, but thats a risk i’m willing to take, how about u?

  51. Theodore Hartman Says:
    January 15th, 2008 at 11:02 pm

Well it may not be low cost but I think the thing that would cause the most chaos and be pretty pleasing would be to have recreational users and medicinal users out to make clouds and let people know about Dr. Paul’s stance on the drug war and his support of Marijuana and hemp I know that there are many people in California who are worried about this issue and it is not being addressed by anyone but Dr. Paul and say it is not medicine ask him he is a doctor and the humblest person I have ever seen run for president. He is energetic about all of his supporters and we are excited about him. not to mention John Mccain who looks like he is hanging on by a thread health wise. Perhaps Dr. Paul can give him some advice and guiliani too. So I think it might work and I am sure there will be some chaos. Anyone has any ideas let me know I Am working on it. But there is no point unless it is in many of the states voting on super tuesday. Come on America!

Also something eye catching..a headline on a sign/banner…WHY WONT THE MEDIA TELL YOU ABOUT RON PAUL…
Lots of business people support him..If they would agree…they could put signs in the windows..Sign up to support Ron Paul get (example) 20% off…(hair cut..legal service..meals)
Any chance of people dressing up like the founding fathers..and important people through Americas history…Including Susan B Anthony….Rosa Parks…MLK..and so on down the list…stating why they would/are supporting Ron Paul? They could give a bit of history about who ‘they’ are, and why it is important to vote for RP so we can leave a mark on history that will inspire generations for years to come.
Calls to well known deejays, who allow people to call in, asking them if they would support the Constitution & Ron Paul.
Grab Vets and those serving who support Ron Paul..They need to be seen.
Truckers have CB radios…those things get out for miles..Anyone have one they can get on and warn the truckers about illegals who are being allowed to come up from Mexico and take their jobs..and tell them if they want to save them..this is what they need to do.

Like the guy for Romney, Huckabee, Mc Cain, says that those three will bring in conscription, will attack Iran for Israel, will give citizenship for the great legal army of workers from south americas….

Idea two : Do a few Peta style nude shoots with Ron Paul signs as your private cover… Granny warriors could go nude for Ron Paul…. ehehhe.

Idea three : hand out pamphlets are end of service at churches, telling how Ron Paul is number one Christian vote and maybe why…

Please do not put fliers in mailboxes. This is illegal. Use the paper boxes on doorknobs instead.

Door to door is the best method along with mailers, and calling. How about having a huge calling campaign. Not a computer calling, but a real Paul supporter calling people in their own precinct. That’s how a local election is run. That way it won’t be such a tremendous task. Get your precinct of Republican voters at the Board of Elections and call them. Be prepared and be polite!

If you are able to speak at some local function for something, throw in the freedom issues and mention Dr. Paul. Let people know that we are not “irrational.”

When its my turn to cast a vote, I plan on bringing two copies of my own paper ballot, certified/notorized, and will expect an election official to sign both copies. One will be left with them and the other I will keep as my receipt. The elction official will also have to write on it what place (What number I was at that point in time for voting at that precinct) I was to make going back and checking my vote possible. If they won’t do this, I plan on a lawsuit indicating that they infringed on my right to vote. I have no idea that it would be successful in court but I can’t understand, in light of all the documented stories of problem with our voting system, that they could throw it out. Either they have to state that their system is full proof or acknowledge that this idea is not unreasonable or illegal.

Young people aren’t serious enough and most will not vote they talk a good game but when it comes down to hitting the polls they aren’t showing up as needed. Old people like me (i’m 49) will vote in large numbers i’m telling everyone i see to vote for Ron Paul but little ole me is not enough. Now i’m NOT saying all young people are full of it because i know most on this site are young and your doing a great job thank you all. But without some older folks we are dead so come on people in Florida get out there and talk to the older generation they really care about all the issues Dr. Paul supports. I live in Atlanta,Ga. but i was born in Pensacola,Fla. and i’ve been on the phone since last summer getting my old friends to look at Dr. Paul and by doing this they have told others. i’ve been to South Carolina but those people are wack I’ve talked till i was blue in the face but these people like the war mongers but i think i’ve turned a few i’ll keep trying i printed out some fliers about Dr. Paul and the FED,IRS and his stance on the economy and war and here in Atlanta it seems to be growing Atlanta is a Rep. town Ga. is a Rep state so hopefully we can do well here but it’s tough the respones i get mostly are who is Ron Paul? Because NO Ron Paul commericals are running here so it’s up hill all the way and it’s amazing how FEW people know aboout the Fed Reserve there jaws all hit the ground when they realize whats going on but Please Young people get out and vote and talk to your mother, father, grand parents, anut ,uncle, teachers we have to work harder to win this fight!

Everyone who supports him should have a yard sign in their front yard, or on the door of their apartment/dorm room. The more people see that others are voting for him, the more they will be convinced that they aren’t throwing away their vote and that they are part of something. A sign in your yard is free advertising all day long while you’re at work to those that drive or walk by. Your neighbors will see it everytime they go to work, and it will stop and make them think “Hey, he’s got the courage to go against the grain, why don’t I?” Buy 2 for $10 from ronpaul2008.com and save one back for that neighbor that wants one too. The best, and simplest way to get the word out is to place a little blurb in your email program settings as the “signature”. It could be anything, like “google Ron Paul”, or
“you deserve freedom and liberty, vote for Ron Paul”, or it can even be a link to http://www.ronpaul2008.com. etc. You get the idea.

Now, whenever you email anyone, it will be automatically pasted into your email, and when you forward some silly cute joke to 10 of your friends, and those 10 forward it out to 10 of their friends, that is 100 people who “might” see your message, and when those 100 forward it to their 10 friends, that is 1,000 people who may see your message.

Forwarding jokes is probably THE most sent emails. Of those 1000, if only 10 percent see it and read it (or click on it), that’s perhaps an additional 100 supporters nationwide. Now, if 10,000 Paul supporters do this simple thing, it can be VERY expotential!

Lindsay T has expressed my best idea perfectly. Get a celebrity that’s beloved and respectable, a teen idol from a few years ago, one that’s timeless, a funny person, and one that’s regarded to be of superior intelligence.

    My suggestions:
Clint Eastwood / James Hong / Carol Burnett
Alicia Keyes / Beyonce Knowles / Avril Lavigne
Tom Cruise / Denzel Washington / George Clooney
Robin Williams / Jim Carrey / Adam Sandler / Jeneane Garafolo
    James Woods / Maya Angelou

And if we have a small budget, then how about three well-rounded actors who embody rich and intelligent acting? Patrick Stewart, James Earl Jones and Edward James Olmos. Dang, I need to lay off the sci-fi genre. 8D

This needs to be put on TV ads (and therefore, on YouTube) and on several billboards.

On the billboard idea, I’d love to see various messages with known actors playing the part.
“Let Iraq stand on its own two feet! Vote Ron Paul 2008″
“You don’t want to be treated like a child. Neither does the world. Become an adult and Vote Ron Paul 2008″
“Big Business is making us kill each other for profit. Stop the war machine. Vote Ron Paul 2008″
“Why pay fealty to a knight who is really a dragon breeder? Be your own knight in shining armor. Vote Ron Paul 2008″

BTW - the one suggestion to stuff mailboxes is illegal. No messing with people’s mailboxes. It’s also a “vinegar” option, as people do not want to be handed something to throw away.

Another Idea… anyone that owns a digital projector, use it to project Ron Paul speeches, adverts, etc on out door walls where theres lots of human traffic, this is a very effective way of getting the message across.

Tell Ron Paul’s campaign manager to dip into the WAR CHEST and buy two 30 second adverts for the SUPER BOWL and GET THE BLIMP UP over the game!

Even if it cost a few million… SPEND THAT DOUGH WHERE IT WILL HIT THE HARDEST!!!!!!! YOU ONLY GET ONE SHOT!

(If they need a top writer/director, I will direct the adverts for free!)

    How about:

    1) a postage stamp with the good doctor’s face on it

    2) Ron Paul supporters everywhere get a tricorn hat ($10 -$20) with a Ron Paul sticker or button on it. We wear the Ron Paul Patriot Hat wherever we go and we call ourselves the Ron Paul Patriots

    Quebec loves Ron Paul!

As you may know, Meg Whitman, the CEO of Ebay and Mitt supporter,
that Paypal is owned by Ebay. So perhaps there is something there
with the freezing of funds for the NH recount.

IF it was the power of the people who brought stocks down 10 percent
against faux news, perhaps the same can be done with ebay and paypal.

Here is the link to the paypal media comments.

Maybe if 10’s of thousands dropped their paypal accounts and
dropped they ebay memberships, they would get the message.

There are plenty of free auction sites out there!

What’s needed is a unified effort to do ONE THING.

I love the Blimp idea over the the Super Bowl Game but we don’t have to spend on
adverts Just Print some hundred dollar bills with Ron Paul face on them and trow them overboard during the game. I bet that would make the news and that people would talk about it for a very long time ! ;-)

We should pick a rally day to line the highways with Ron Paul supporters and signs for the benefit of the rush hour traffic. 1 guy by the side of the road is a nut. Another 100 yards later is odd. A third is curious. But, by number 100, it is a happening!

If we want to create absolute havoc, I propose creating the “Ron Paul Motor Corps.”

The Ron Paul Motor Corps would consist of 5 or more groups of people in old beat-up junker cars, “breaking down” at key strategic arteries and junctions during the afternoon commute of major cities. If done correctly this could bring the entire commute to an absolute standstill!

I live in the SF bay area and when cars break down, run out of gas, stall etc on any of the bridges or tunnels in the area, the traffic circulation is screwed up for hours.

What we do is have a few people coordinate a time to break down, run out of gas, cause fender benders etc in and around all of the major choke points for a region (except those near hospitals). Then while everyone is stuck sitting in traffic and are now a captive audience, we have the Ron Paul Air Corps fly by with a message like “Ron Paul will get this country moving again. Vote Ron Paul.” At the same time we run radio ads on all the drive time talk shows. Even sponsor some traffic reports. What’s important is though is that the Ron Paul Motor Corps must be cloaked. They can’t appear to be affiliated with the campaign. No Ron Paul stickers on the cars. If you must put a sticker on the car, put one up for Romney or Hillary, not for Ron. Politics is dirty. We must play dirty in this fight!

    Any questions?

    Tyrone

Every Meetup group could go and find as many homeless veterans as possible. Then take the homeless veterans someplace nice to eat. The activity would have to be well coordinated and publicized beforehand. The media would have to take note of Ron Paul supporters treating thousands of homeless veterans to a nice meal.

Everyone likes veterans. The event would highlight Ron Paul’s support of veterans and the effects of war.

I think everybody understand we are at a crux now. The only radical, yet ‘civilized’ action, that would show how determined we are against these fraudulent elections, the only action that measures to what is at stake here and express our desperation, the only action that the mainstream media will not be able to ignore is :

*** A MASSIVE, NATION WIDE, PUBLIC HUNGER STRIKE. ***

Why can’t Ron Paul last past 2/05/08? He has enough funds to hang around until the Republican Convention. Ron Paul needs to do one thing that would draw attention to his campaign in the MSM. He needs to visit a Nascar race or make a statement about Brittany Spears or make an appearance on MTV…….

We can’t rely on the official campaign to listen to us, so suggestions that involve the official campaign are useless

What we need to do is determine what is most effective and do it on as massive a scale as possible.

A single, realistic plan. A concerted effort.

Everything else is just a bunch of idiots typing for each others’ sake. Mr. Reissaus should put up a fresh post and give us three good options to vote on. Then, guess what? WE SHOULD DO IT.

What the hell? Throw a Ron Paul Party. Celebrate what has been happening and get to know one another a little more. A movement that can party together deserves to stay together…

If you get enough people this could create a bit of a stir and before considering it you have to check with local laws, but in most states it is legal for bicyclists to ride in car lanes. Pedal power activists have staged “Critical Mass” events where they get together as many people as possible to ride together in a car lane. If you could gather a few hundred cyclists all wearing shirts supporting RP, RP stickers on their bikes and helmets, RP flags, etc. it’ll definitely draw some attention, maybe even some media attention if they are properly alerted.

    Good luck!

Here’s an idea: Take back the airwaves.
Ron Paul supporters could get small radio broadcast devices. They could all turn them to the same frequency at the same time and broadcast Ron Paul Radio. In major cities, all the small transmitters operating simultaneously would work as one large transmitter. The FCC would get angry, but they wouldn’t be able to blame/find a single individual.

    1. Ron Paul Blimp must be flown over super-bowl
    2. Convince Campaign to sell pocket constitutions on ronpaul2008.com with brief messages of RP on the back.
3.We Devise a plan for us supporters to buy out 115 million of these pocket constitutions and send it to every home in America.
4.Devise a plan that would make all of us suporters forward the “spread the word letter” in ronpaul2008.com to all we know.
5.Maybe come up with another letter that we can mass e-mail to all people we know to spread the word better then the letter devised by the campaign which would include at least one youtube video link which would describe Ron Paul’s platforms well.
6.Schedule a rally across america on sunday or monday before super tuesday in all cities all in the same day to get the attention of the media/people.
7.Think of plans to get business owners interested in RP and somehow get free advertisement off of that.
8.Someone to write a letter that we can send to different public figures to petition for endorsement for RP.
9.Figure a way to get RP into late-night shows like Conan O’brien, David Letterman, John Leno,Colbert Report, Daily Show w/ John Stewart.
10.Get him in more serious publications like: cover of Times, NY, LA Times, 60 Minutes, Daily News..whatever to get people reading about RP positions.

All of this and more before super tuesday. What do you think guys? email me: nyczhugo@gmail.com
