Nice find. I think that explains a lot.

That figures. I hope Paul’s Dept of Justice gets the opportunity to prosecute this act of collusion.

Is she related to EPA Whitman?

Get this: I just did a search on Forbes.com for Margaret C Whitman. You will read she once was Vice President at Bain and Company. Bain and Company was founded by Mitt Romney. A spin-off of Bain and Company is Bain Capital, which is the group that just purchased Clearchannel2. Here’s a direct relationship between Whitman and Romney. How small the world is. I have no idea what this would mean, but it has to be something significant.

Can someone please get that bio from forbes.com and link it here for others to research.

one more for my boycott list i read an article about the power of boycotts people have more power through boycotts to change things than voteing in an election for example if everone stopped useing e bay they will go under if we stopped buying cars untill one of the major car companys gave us a car that got 60 miles to the gallon this would happen companys only listen when it cost them money so every company that tries to screw with us will not get our money that could mean the loss of over fifty thousand people just in michigan alone who would not buy your products i know its hard but we can gain more this way than any other way i will not buy anything from any one for the next month lets all do this we can give them a wake up call

I was just about to make a purchase on ebay with paypal. i’m glad i read this. oh well, i don’t need them..
January 16th, 2008 at 2:28 pm
It really makes me think… If I came up with a great idea like myspace, or google, or e-bay, paypal, i could become incredibly rich by selling out or caving in to special interest, and big money masters, and coersive government. It seems like these monsters are buying up every good thing there is, and using it against all us little guys. Now Homeland security may read what we type on myspace IM even as we type it! Thanks, Murdoch.
January 16th, 2008 at 2:44 pm
Yep, time to boycott ebay and paypal.
I recommend people not to buy their common stock either.
No money to either of them for a very long time, maybe for my wholle life.
This is not something that can easily be forgiven.
I will notify my contacts and friends also to boycott them.
Apparently, Rommney and the Ebay CEO don’t like our American Republic. Their money has made them decadent and arrogant and has destroyed their feeling toward of fair play and the American way. They should remember everyone puts their pants on one leg at a time.
Is the Ebay CEO connected to any other companies that we can boycott ?
Does anyone know, is it possible to still get a recount ?
This also shows that someone was afraid of there being a recount. Why is that ? My feeling is it also that this gives anecdotal proof that the voting was rigged. And apparently someone thought, maybe one of Rommney’s controllers, that the voting was so rigged that it would cause a national uproar.
January 16th, 2008 at 3:02 pm
You people are all a bunch of conspiracy theorists to think that there is some sort of nefarious connection between Pay Pal and Romney….
Welcome to the club

Boycott Big Brothers-Inlaws Ebay, Paypal, Walmart, Costco, Etc…………. If people really don’t start doing this we are all going to wake up with chips in our assy’s! For Real!
January 16th, 2008 at 5:48 pm
I belong to a digest with a lot of members who sell on ebay. They have complained about paypal many times. That is why I have never used paypal and I also stopped using ebay. This screams of manipulation on the part of Whitman. If there is a next time maybe the solution is to send money orders is credit cards are not an option. I also can’t imagine why New Hampshire needs 67,000 for a recount. Seem to me the manufacturer of the machines is liable for the accuracy of their equipment.

MEG WHITMAN SUCKS!
TREASON, PEOPLE, TREASON!
I WILL NEVER, EVER USE E-BAY OR PAYPAL.

Indeed this is treachery.
January 16th, 2008 at 8:49 pm
What I hear is a bunch of yelling and whining. Lawyers are built for things like this. I believe it is criminal, tampering with elections is a crime. Can someone please get to the right person to bring a charge? Follow the money, have motive, can exert force over their staff.
Subpoena the phone records, e-mails, server logs, everything.
Is there someone out there who can get this rolling, she should be arrested.
January 16th, 2008 at 8:59 pm
But what’s the big news reported by the mainstream media? Hilliary pretends she’s a flight attendant.

January 16th, 2008 at 11:26 pm
There is something wrong here. Let me get this right, we entrust PayPay with our money, and they stop payment. Come on.

She’s a regular on the PayPal sucks website and won this prestigious award for , what else, transaction issues with said-site:
Asshole of the Month: eBay CEO Meg Whitman
http://www.screw-paypal.com/as....._2007.html
January 17th, 2008 at 4:35 am
Whoops! I meant to say the screw-paypal.com site. As of last night, Bradblog was reporting that a “white knoght” came forward and presented the NH secretary of state with the FULL amount for a FULL Republican recount. The SoS stated that the recount will take place.
January 17th, 2008 at 5:31 am
oooh time to boycott Ebay and Paypal. I already sent them both emails alerting them that I will no longer use their services
January 17th, 2008 at 5:55 am
While this sucks, and makes clear to me why the Grannies’ account was frozen, i don’t think 20 people boycotting PayPal and E-bay is really going to hurt them any.
January 17th, 2008 at 6:03 am
Someone needs to go after these people, like Whitman, in court.
January 17th, 2008 at 8:42 am
Now the secretary of state (Gardner) is saying that he will have to make a decision as to whether to accept the tardy check, as he is all tied up in the Democratic recount and doesn’t know WHEN or IF he will be able to get to it.
http://www.concordmonitor.com/...../801170403
http://www.nashuatelegraph.com...../945285026
LOOKS LIKE TIME TO PUT THE SCREWS TO SECRETARY OF STATE GARDNER AND MAKE SURE PEOPLE KNOW THE MEG WHITMAN/ROMNEY CAMPAIGN CONNECTION THAT FROZE THE ORIGINAL ONTIME PAYMENT!! LET EVERYBODY IN ON WHAT’S GOING ON, PEOPLE!!
January 17th, 2008 at 9:03 am
Thats because Gardner is a Democrat. He needs to make sure everything goes well in that recount. Funny thing, he was put in power by a Republican legislature. What is the deal? The governor of NH was upset with him for moving up the primaries. Sounds like he is more concerned about the Democratic race outcome. Heres a thought: Meg Whitman has given to both sides. Could she be happy with the current outcome in NH (both party outcomes) and Gardner is merely balking at all this recount stuff because he doesn’t want to see the Democratic race outcome change? Meg might not want it because she is happy how both “horses” came in? This all isn’t making any sense.
January 17th, 2008 at 9:23 am
Interesting points, Mike. I hadn’t considered the governor’s priorities/motives. Nevertheless, his career will be mud if he doesn’t follow through with the GOP recount. We have to get this rolling while the chain of custody and roaming memory cards at LHS (Diebold) don’t get compromised. LHS keeps the memory cards, not the governor, so all hope may be gone on seeing these. The hand count is all we have.
January 17th, 2008 at 10:20 am
i just closed my paypal account im not an american im a man of the world and anyone who interferes with democracy is my enemy.
January 17th, 2008 at 10:42 am
Oh I agree with you Mr Bill. This is just one state and battle. The fraud/problems are systemic in every state. It does really matter not why it happened; what matters (As I think you are saying) is that IT SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING and we need to fix it to gain control over securing that out votes are counted accurately. Thanks Mr Bill
January 17th, 2008 at 10:48 am
For those of you who are tuning in late….
The Depressing Truth..
At the present time there is an attempt to have a recount of the votes of the Republican Primary in New Hampshire.
Those attempting to have the recount raised the required $55,600.00 using a PayPal account.
The money in question was transferred to the account of the Secretary of State of New Hampshire but approximately 5 minutes after the transfer, the money was withdrawn from the account of the New Hampshire Secretary of State and returned to the PayPal account…..Now what could PayPals’ reasoning be for the reversal of the deposit?
According to a spokesperson for PayPal ” After the deposit to The State of New Hampshire, a deposit was made to the PayPal account in the amount of one thousand dollars by a person or persons with an Islamic Sounding Name”..This caused PayPal supervisors ” to suspect a connection between the origination paying for the recount and TERRORIST ORIGINZATIONS”
The account of the organization paying for the recount ” has been frozen, and will remain frozen FOR UP TO SIX MONTHS while PayPal conducts an internal investigation”.
I smell rodents…
Let’s play Connect The Dots
Who owns PayPal ? PayPal is owned by Ebay
Who runs Ebay (and therefor PayPal) ? a Ms Meg Whitman CEO
Would that be the same Ms Whitman who is the Finance Chairman of the Mitt Romney for President Campaign?
One and the same….Now the question is…
What does Mitt Romney have to fear from a recount in New Hampshire?
It must be more than we can imagine!
January 17th, 2008 at 11:36 am
Glen2Gs, this is old news, as the total amount was paid in full by one person (a “white knight” as explained at Bradblog yesterday, not through Paypal). So the Secretary of State, Gardner ,is in receipt of the full amount yesterday, albeit a day late caused by the Whitman/Romney collusion. Read the previous entries and you will understand this and what the current problem is.
January 17th, 2008 at 12:51 pm
Also, if you go to: http://www.bradblog.com/ you will be able to click on the gov site that has the current count and results. Brad mentioned, unfortunately, that the numbers that are being provided as the official original count numbers at this site, as being dubious, at best. I could see where they could be counted in advance and adjusted to delete just enough of the unwanted candidate votes to match the low number they published. As most of the problem is certain candidates being robbed of votes, whose to know if they have already compromised the “secure” ballots and adjusted the gov site accordingly? As stated on the above site, they have been sending Ron Paul candidates to faraway precincts to discourage turnout and also providing pens at the “appropriate” voting sites that the optical scanners cannot read.
