David Shuster MSNBC: “Ron Paul is Al Qaeda of GOP”
By SharpSteve | January 18, 2008
On MSNBC’s Morning Joe, Reporter hack David Shuster called Ron Paul the Al Qaeda of the GOP. This is the same reporter who called for Ron Paul to apologize for his comments on Lincoln and the Civil War.

Good video, but totally unwatchable due to the hideous music. The juvenile language dosen’t help either
January 18th, 2008 at 10:49 am
Yes I agree just the video without the comments would be good, but I didn’t make it.

In some ways I don’t disagree with the analogy. “Al Qaeda” has become a catch-all in the Old Media and the Pentagon for those Arabs and other middle easterners who are defying the occupation of a foreign nation by violent means.
They are what in previous incarnations have been called “freedom fighters.” They are essentially fighting for the right of self determination rather than what-ever government the occupiers determine.
In that vein I see much in common with the revolutionary spirit of the Ron Paul campaign.
But I doubt that most viewers of Morning Joe would be able to make that mental leap…

Yeah I don’t see them making that leap either. But, at least Joe was standing up for Ron Paul and our ideas…
January 18th, 2008 at 11:16 am
I don’t think Joe was standing up for Ron Paul as much as he doesn’t want to catch hell from his viewers and his Son who is a Ron Paul supporter. They have commented several times about all the Email the get when they Mention Ron Paul or Don’t mention him.

Good video. I liked it. Thank you Ron Paul supporters for exposing the media bias.
Joe Scarbarough felt compelled to defend Ron Paul. It looks like we are making some progress.

You bet they consider Ron the Al Qaeda to the Republican Party. They’re scared to death of him and they’re also scared of his supporters. They should be and that means we’re making major headway in taking back our Country.
This Grassroots movement has never been seen before in this Country and regardless of Ron Paul’s success this train will not stop. We’ve already got people beginning to run for office that never even considered it and I encourage everyone to seriously consider it.
It’s Time! We’re The Ones We’ve Been Looking For!!!!
