The McCain 100 years statement is accurate and available in YouTube.
The Bush Doctrine is public knowledge, also available to anyone with a web browser and a nominal ability to read.

You may be interested to know that in Future Studies, one does not find any precise political statement the longer it extends into the future. It assumes by 100 years a dictatorship lasting just as long to seriously consider the issue as affirmative.
Future Studies may consider political statements and deeds to last in the short to medium term at best. Curiously the 1000 year Reich predicted by Hitler, was that very kind of dictatorship, but it did not pan out. One could only suggest a kind of total ignorance in the statement of McCain.
Also World Order Models design, does not consider long range functions, but rather flexible models that change, and with more persistent life supportive designs being the ones that project further in the future. Even those are subject to enlightened modifications.
So such a statement is not very intellectual, nor does it reflect any deep political studies, it may be considered from a professional and academic design process to be an arrogant boast. Nothing is final in politics.

I am a Norwegian living outside my own country (not in the US) and I am a keen supporter and follower of Ron Paul. He is the only sign of hope I see on an otherwise very dark horizon for true freedom in the world.
However, the kind of PR as in the video above, and the kind of language and arguing as I have seen in the above thread, is truly a disappointing experience. Ron Paul, and the very important cause he is fronting, is far too important to have it downgraded by this stuff.
I am very disappointed in you..
But God bless Ron Paul and his supporters, his hard working volunteers, and everybody else who truly respects him and cause.

Actually on a Face the Nation interview McCain did say he wanted the troops in Iraq for 10,000 years. So that guy of course is wrong.

The above discussion is not concerning Ron Paul who is gentleman.
It was concerning a low life insulting our soldiers by by wanting them to stay in Iraq for 100+ years, then insult them further by claiming to be a veteran.
McCain is dangerous and a threat to what is left of our republic. McCain makes absurd statements and sycophants line up to spin and make excuses.
It is a taste of what is to come. I don’t like it. I love my country and do not want to see it become the 4th Reich or collapse from the weight of it’s own corruption.

You all sound like a bunch of 14 year olds, who just discovered the joy of meaningless arguments on messageboards.
Why do you get yourselves so worked up arguing with people on a political website like this, people who probably share most of your political views? That doesn’t make sense to me. Spend some time promoting Ron Paul instead.
The CA primary is coming up, and I have scraped together 6 people plus myself who are all going to go to the polling station to cast their votes for RP on feb 5. If every RP supporter did even half as good as me RP would win by a landslide.
If you live in a state where the primary has not yet been, then do something useful and get some friends or family to commit to vote for RP instead of sitting here trolling the messageboards.

Glad I reloaded the page so that I could see your note! It’s taken me a while to write this (and lowered my income some) as I’ve been doing it while playing poker (it’s how I make my living right now). Especially since I spent so much time writing it, I decided to preface my article with a personal answer to your missive as I don’t seem to have had enough fun yet.
First, freedom of expression is something that people enjoy, and this particular type of expression on boards like these provide a needed amount of social cohesion to the “Ron Paul phenomenon.” You know, how the internet has been all beneficial to it, and stuff. And here you are badmouthing it. Sure, it may not be the most productive of activities, but it provides an outlet for one’s opinions and also entertainment to a large group of people who do not participate in vegetative non-participatory entertainment ‘activities.’
So basically, why don’t you try to stop being such a tight-ass??
Secondly, I’d be willing to bet that most of the Ron Paul supporters on this board do promote him in some way. It may not be thru participating in official party activities, but it’s probably better than nothing - money, word of mouth, and even participating in vocal barrages can help. Besides, how do you know if these people haven’t already gotten MORE THAN 6 people to go vote with them? Maybe you’d be more effective recruiting if you’d troll more.
Hell, if you wanted to be of some REAL USE you’d get your preachy ass down to your local Ron Paul campaign headquarters and donate some of your time. I’d say about 90 hours/week should be sufficient…
So, although your suggestion is nice, since this activity that we do here does not necessarily exclude YOUR suggested activity I still have to recommend that you try to stop being such a tight-ass.
BTW, all that’s going on here is a nice game of “trash the double-digit IQ’d troll,” a time honored tradition in computerized geek culture, so lighten up, OK?

CHAPTER TWO - simpleman1776 and the Case of the Missing Pottymouth.

Though I believe that the Vietnam War was a mistake on the USA’s part, I appreciate kayaker712’s service to our country - thank you kayaker712.
I also think that both gulf war’s were/are mistakes. However, I do not appreciate your service, as it seems to have done nothing but to empower an otherwise intellectually impotent asshat (that would be you), and here’s why:
First, the cartoon is in my opinion poorly done - with bad writing, boring and even distracting animation, dull voice acting and a tone of humor that is very poorly developed. I think that having it on this website is kind of detrimental, though it should be left on IMO because of this fantastic comments section that we now have! But in a word, this video sucks. However, it should also be recognized as at least an ATTEMPT at SATIRE; a form of comedy that utilizes primarily EXTREME EXAGGERATIONS of object properties, including properties like STATEMENTS. So, even if McCain hadn’t said “ten thousand years,” it’s an EXAGGERATION of his “one hundred years” statement, which is just part of what they’re doing (like how the size of his head is wildly exaggerated compared to the size of his body), so in effect you’re criticizing a joke for being a joke, and not for being an unfunny joke. Which it was. They should have had McCain say “ten bazillion years,” “more years than YOU’LL be alive” or “as many years as it takes us to teach those heathen bastards to love Jesus and speak Vietnamese!” I think there’s some funny in there…
Secondly (and more importantly), When you say something like “I was there in gulf war 1, where were you sissy ?” you are implying that the opinion of anyone who hasn’t served is worthless when you make an insulting comment like that. And if that’s the case, then you should answer this question - Who does or did constitute the bigger threat to American’s freedom of speech - Saddam Hussein, or you? (Hint: Hussein never insulted, cajoled ot tried to intimidate ANY American to shut up because of their lack of a service record, but you have).

On a side note, during one of the earlier dates after Dr. Paul spoke of how we shouldn’t be conducting nation building and intervening in the affairs of foreign governments, Senator McCain made a statement that equated Congressman Paul’s “isolationist” attitudes with causing WW2, Senator McCain actually blamed the US’s foreign policiy for allowing HITLER to come to power!! HAHAHAHAHA!! What a clown!!
Aside from the fact that pre-WW2 American popular sentiment was HUGELY isolationist, if preventing Hitler’s rise to power was any nation’s responsibility to do, it would have been Britain’s and France’s. He also doesn’t explain how “we” would have stopped Hitler from gaining power. Maybe we should have done it the same way that we stopped Saddam Hussein from gaining power - oh, wait! WE put the Baathists and Hussein into power in Iraq in the 1963 coup - Oops!! And we sold him a BUNCH of weapons! Know how we knew Saddam had weapons of mass destruction? We looked at the receipts (ba-da-chink! Thank You Mr. Hicks)! In fact, we’ve put far more little Hitlers into power than we’ve tried to remove. But I digress…
Without an organization like the CIA (started in 1947), or even it’s precursor, the OSS (which was started in 1942), the only intelligence organizations that we had were the military intelligence agencies, which were pretty much involved in codebreaking and “spying” at diplomatic parties. But hey, maybe we could have gotten a few cryptographers to go over and try to assassinate Hitler, but if you’re going to do that you’d have to assassinate pretty much all of the top levels of the Nazi hierarchy - after all, if Hitler had been replaced by a more competent military commander and diplomatic strategist (Hitler’s plan was still alive in Mein Kampf, and Hitler would have been elevated to a martyr status) the German’s could have gone to war and WON IT. Unfortunately, the Nazi’s DID have a centralized intelligence setup, so maybe that whole assassination thing would not have worked out, so we have to explore other options.
We could have given post-war Germany a break in the WW-1 peace terms, but the Brits (and even more so the French) wanted to punish all of Germany for what it’s Kaiser did (even though he had left the country), and for France’s loss of Alsace-Lorraine in 1870 to Germany. We COULD have given them economic aid like we did with the Marshall Plan after WW2, but we didn’t - and though that would have worked, that wouldn’t really classify as “intervention,” or should I say “McCaIntervention?”
So, what to do? Well, to get to the root of the problem, Hitler’s Germany was only a problem IF he could re-energize the economy to allow for a military build-up. But, although he had a new currency (his Reichmark replaced the worthless Deutchmark) it was worthless without the backing of the BIg Banks. In fact, ALL of the EARLY funding for the Nazi Party came from Brown Brothers Harriman, and its affiliate, the Union Banking Corporation. Maybe we should have stopped them before Hitler came to power in 1933, but that would have been difficult as the board of the UBC had many powerful and influential people on it including Prescott Bush, grandfather of our current Decider. So that’s a no-go.
So it seems like McCain is completely out of his FRIGGIN’ SKULL on this one, too - in fact, his statement is so incredibly ignorant and unrealistic that that I’d have to say that he’s effectively far, far stupider and/or crazier that Bush (Bush solo, without Rove, Cheney, Rice, or anyone else at his side). The incompetence of this one statement of McCain’s is truly staggering. The fact that the Main Stream Media missed this one just shows what a bunch of tools and boobs they really are. BTW, I know some mainstream “investigative reporters.” and the main thing that they’re all concerned with investigating is how to get their work done early so that they don’t miss happy hour.
simpleman1776, if you weren’t hiding (like we all are in a way) behind your PC, you’d probably be a pretty good guy face-to-face. Like I said, I didn’t like the video - to sum up for you, it was not funny and it raelly sucked. And while you may find (though not realize) that, as George Orwell put it in his novel “1984,” that IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH, I hope that you can realize that IGNORANCE IS STUPID.
I suggest that you put down the remote control to your TV, DVD, VHS and CD players along with your video game controller (though yes, I’m sure that Metal Gear Solid 4 is quite engaging) and spend about a 4000 man hours reading about the things that you DON’T want to learn (you know, the stuff that WE talk about) - half of which should be books. BTW, I don’t mean reading some Neo-Con half-wit’s piss-poor criticisms (do that in your other time if you wish) - I mean reading some hard-core history about the CIA; powerful families and how they work (like the Bush-Clinton dynasty, to name one); versions of history that you aren’t taught in school, on the History Channel or in Hollywood’s dramatizations; the history and effects of foreign intervention in the middle east (and elsewhere); the history of the federal reserve (did you know that the federal reserve is privately owned and not actually a part of the US government?); 911 conspiracy theory; dominant US economic theories of the past 40 years; corporate history; the definition, beginning, and peacetime operations of fascist governments; the communist manefesto; and about a hundred other subjects.
If you did this, you know what would happen? Well, you’ll either undergo an extreme change of viewpoint, or your head will explode. Either way, it’s a win/win from what I can see.
However, if this suggestion (like reading this ‘book’ that I have written) is too much for you, there is one service that you could perform for your country that I WOULD appreciate, and that would be sterilizing yourself and all of your progeny so that your evil and idiocy causing virus-like genetic code will no longer infect the American Gene Pool.
In other words, it doesn’t matter if you’re real of a poser troll: you’re like this video; you’re stupid, you’re not funny, and your stuff’s all frigged up.
Though I do have to admit that reading ALL of the posts (and yes, even more so, writing this one) has been a blast.
