Be wary of information like this. I have over 10 years experience in computer programming, and I wouldn’t know how to hack the diebold machines. However if I had inside knowledge of the hardware, operating system, then yes it’s easy to create a program to flip votes. Hackers can be very smart, but they still need to know how the inside of the machines are configured. They are trying to create a false sense of security. Just lock up the machines and no hacker will be able to get in, and fool people into thinking their votes will be counted. I guarantee that the vote flipping comes straight from the manufacturers. That “virus” is already pre-loaded even before the machines get to the voting precints. Some activist have been trying to get Diebold and others to make the source code public, but they claim it’s propietary, therefore no one can see it.
