The SUM of thy words is truth.
Read the whole New Testament and don’t let anyone interpret it for you. Just read the words- especially of Jesus. If you are given a gift of God - he will give you faith to believe it. You will see that much of what you have been taught and see has nothing to do with Jesus. It’s not like him and everyone can see that. But there is a real Jesus and He is the same as He was in the Bible, and still doing miracles, forgiving enemies, and being hated by religion.

…as it is, and seems to continue to be, that some would impose a test of impossibility on politics and the worthiness of one man over another to be selected to lead. Your posting suggests an intimate kowledge of a man’s life for which you - unless you are in a position to really know - seem to advaocate should NOT be considered, supported, and followed. While I cannot recite, and otherwise attempt to apply chapter and verse from the Bible as you have done, I can nonetheless see very clearly that we are all imperfect in life. Very few are willing to throw their convictions behind their relative willingness to advance same at all cost notwithstanding the onslaught of vitriol that comes forth unabated from every quarter.
