Washington State, Stevens County Convention Results
By ErnieSilvr | April 13, 2008
Republicans in Stevens County Washington held their County Convention in Colville on Saturday April 12th. Ron Paul delegates handily picked up 11 of the 13 at-large county delegate positions to go to State Convention in Spokane on Memorial Day weekend next month.
The old guard didn’t have a clue what hit them. Maybe this morning after a restless night (and perhaps a headache) they might be beginning to get a clue. There were 3 automatic delegates also (for a total of 16 to go to State) but not sure if any of the automatics were Ron Paul supporters. 11 for 16, though, is an awesome result and there are a lot of smiles around Northeastern Washington today.

Don’t see anything on the site about the BIG one in WA State on the weekend.
Spokane County elected 107 out of 114 Delegates to State.
Looks like Paul will definitely be taking some of WA States 40 Delegates to National.

Congratulations guys !!!
I am becoming there are more Ron Paul republicans involved in the political process than there are non-Ron Paul republicans ; and as city after city after city chooses Ron Paul over every other candidate, the media refuses to say a word.
The revolution will not be televised; GO RON PAUL !!!

As a proud new state delegate for Ron Paul, that is also planning to get to the National Convention, I am very excited to be part of the overwhelming response of “we the people” to stand up and announce that the “bought and paid for media” IS NOT going to tell this country what President we are going to elect. I can’t wait to see how they will escape televising the inaugeration of Ron Paul into Presidency………….. :() Boy - won’t all the major networks look stupid at that point?!!
The reason for the statewide success of the Ron Paul County results is due to the very organized and constant efforts of the Ron Paul meeting groups. The people in charge are persistent in updating the supporters and pulling everybody together onto the same page. That can’t possibly be easy when everybody is stressed out by the economy and is very busy with their lives right now. However, they did it anyway, and that has been essential to get this accomplished. My hat’s off to every one of the superb organizers! They did a fantastic job pulling record number crowds to the County Conventions and getting the delegates elected to state.
On the Ellen show this morning a fine elderly lady in Texas stated her opinion about the Presdential candidates. She said, “you know, when you read the Constitution, it states, ‘we the people’, not ‘Me the President’. ” Everybody in the audience cheered. She also added that she thought “Ron Paul was just as cute as a button!” So I believe that the media control what the agenda is supposed to be, but clearly, people for Ron Paul are figuring out ways to sneak bits of helpful info in anyway.
I think it would also be an enormous help for all the Ron Paul people to post homemade flyers in their local areas stating the Ron Paul “wins” so people can follow what the media refuses to publicize. Post these at grocery stores, and all local bulletin boards you can find. When people start realizing the media isn’t able to thwart the Ron Paul Revolution, he will begin gathering a larger and louder/prouder crowd of supporters when they find out how well he is doing throughout the whole country. Be proud and be loud to be a Ron Paul supporter! Hurray WA State!!
